NOTICE: With our server being under continued development, our rules are going to constantly be changed to fit the needs of the community. Our rules are here to be followed as guidelines, to make sure everyone in the community has a fair and fun time. It is required that you read the rules below and fully understand them before playing.
Staff reserve the right to remove anyone at any given time, with or without providing evidence.
BEFORE JOINING THE SERVER, PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THE RULES. YOU WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ALL RULE BREAKS REGARDLESS IF YOU ARE AWARE OF THE RULE OR NOT.
(1.1) Age requirement for Asylum Roleplay: 18+
(1.2) MUST be in our discord & verification completed.
(1.3) A working, quality mic is required. Be mindful and use push to talk so your background noise doesn’t affect those around you.
(1.4) Do not harass or disrespect other community member or staff, respect each other.
(1.5) Any form of discrimination will not be tolerated within this community, this includes but is not limited to racism, sexism, derogatory terms, and other forms of vulgar language.
(1.6) Being toxic, or breeding toxicity in any platform (this includes streaming platforms & our Asylum Roleplay Discord) can have you removed from the community at any point in time.
Trolling will not be tolerated and is grounds for immediate ban.
(1.7) Any behavior that goes against streaming platform’s TOS is subject to punishment up to including bans. You don’t always know who is streaming or recording with the intent to post. Be courteous of our community’s content creators, their content can be adversely affected by your actions and their streaming platforms can take actions against them for things they have no control over.
(1.8) Do not DM staff directly. Utilize the ticket system for all questions, concerns or server issues.
(1.9) If tickets are brought to our attention please provide as much information as you possibly can regarding the situation that occurred. Proof of inventory, or 5 minutes of a scene in recording will help more than anything and will help the staff address the situation better.
(1.10) Please if possible and able to do so, run a clipping software to help not only you but others if certain situations happen that we can have evidence in clear view for the staff to review! Links will be provided in (Discord) under clipping software.
(1.11) Ban evasion will not be tolerated. This means that after being banned, you may not play on other accounts to get around the ban or attempt anything to evade your ban.
(1.12) You may not advertise other communities, products, services, or accounts unless relevant to Asylum Roleplay. Poaching will not be tolerated.
(2.1) Your character MUST have a realistic name that does not break Twitch/Facebook/YouTube streaming TOS.
(2.2) Stay in character at all times. Do not go OOC.
(2.3) In the event that there's an issue, completely roleplay out the scene and make a player report if needed. DO NOT break character and spoil the scene further by explaining they're breaking rules ect.
(2.4) Roleplay should not be stopped if a restart is on its way, carry out your scene and continue after.
(2.5) Do not approach staff in city regarding OOC issues.
(2.6) If you are downed please roleplay that you are down. DO NOT start talking on the radio/ organizing /calling out your location whilst down to gain advantage.
(2.7) New life rule is here so please obey it, do not start instantly trying to carry out the scene when you wake up at hospital.
The last 10 minutes of the scene prior to going down must be forgotten.
You must try and contact EMS for help. You may not respawn if you have been advised that EMS is on their way.
(2.8) Value your life at all times like you would in the real world. If you have 2 vs 1 please obey commands given to you.
(2.9) Green zones are hospital property only (this includes the parking lot), we don't expect the roleplay to end in hospitals but hostile RP in these zones will not be tolerated.
Green zones are not to be abused, anyone caught camping hospitals or staying in green zones so they are not caught etc. will be warned.
(2.10) Metagaming, powergaming, and exploiting are not prohibited. If you are caught you will be punished with strikes. IF you are caught exploiting money your character will face deletion.
Voice ID'ing is not allowed. People cannot be ID'ed based solely off their voice, it is a form of metagaming and powergaming.
Sitting in voice chats outside of city while you are in city can be a form of powergaming.
No watching streams while in city.
(2.11) VDM & RDM are not permitted. Any actions carried out without proper initiation will be subject to punishment.
The 2 minute rule applies here - interactions should take place for 2 minutes prior to criminal acts or acts of violence occurring.
The only time the 2 minute rule does not apply is when in an established org/gang/mc war.
(2.12) Gore and torture RP are prohibited unless all parties involved agree to the RP ahead of time in an OOC setting and can provide proof of the agreement should any tickets arise from the RP scene.
(2.13) Rape and suicide RP are strictly not permitted.
(2.14) Using any hacks or cheats in the city will not be tolerated and lead to an instant permanent ban.
(2.15) Any use of external 3rd party programs will not be allowed. This includes Bullet Penetration, Aim Bots, Auto Clickers etc.
(2.16) The in city Freecam is only meant to be used for taking photos. Any misuse of this will be considered powergaming and you will be subject to punishment.
(2.17) Scenes must be carried out to their full extent as best as possible. If there are issues, please end the scenes and use clips to create tickets if needed. Going OOC, or exiting mid scene (F8 quitting) will not be tolerated and are punishable offenses.
(2.18) If you have multiple characters in city, a criminal/civilian, EMS and PD character, these characters cannot have shared bank accounts. Sharing bank accounts with your own characters will not be permitted.
(2.19) Rules for in city civilian jobs: (these are in place to avoid unnecessary errors being sent making it look like the job itself is broken)
Any job that has a preset uniform when you go to start the job must be worn at all times. DO NOT RELOAD SKIN TO BE IN REGULAR CLOTHES, you will be able to change back into what you had on at the end of the job.
Skateboards are NOT to be used when in the mines. If you are caught using the skateboards in the mines you will be banned 24 hours for exploiting.
(2.20) Killing off characters or "perma" must be the choice of the person who created that character. There will be NO force perma of characters. Any agreeance to perma situations with multiple parties involved must have prearranged OOC backup in case any tickets arise from the situation.
(3.1) Criminal activity is limited to groups of 6 people maximum unless otherwise stated. This includes any outside eyes or people who may become involved at a later point such as for pick ups or interference.
DO NOT insert yourself into scenes that you are not actively involved in.
IF you are just wanting to be there for shooting and to interfere with the current scene , leave the scene because this behavior will not be tolerated.
Once a group of 6 has been involved in a scene, no other players should intervene nor can they switch out with one of the 6.
If you show up as one of the established 6, your initial and immediate interaction cannot be to open fire unless you have come into an active shootout.
(3.2) ALL criminal activity is to stop 15 minutes before storm and cannot start until 15 minutes after storm. The only exception is if a chase is already in progress at the time of the storm warning.
(3.3) When taking someone hostage, you are not allowed to use friends, members or your own gang, or police negotiators. Hostages must be players who are unaware of what you are planning.
(3.4) It is required that you roleplay to your best ability and think before shooting, we want to see at least 2 minutes of roleplay before you are to engage in pulling your gun or killing someone.
(3.5) POCKET WIPING IS NOT ALLOWED. You may rob illegal items off of people but all other items are not to be removed from their pockets. Personal and VIP shop items are off limits.
Robbing of law enforcement is allowed but the following must be adhered to:
Only law enforcement related items can be taken, no personal legal items. You are not allowed to wipe pockets, ever.
Law enforcement may only be robbed AFTER a job or interaction of the 2 minute rule has occurred. The RP behind the shooting must make sense. Anyone caught not following this will receive punishment as law enforcement is not there to be baited and farmed for guns.
If you get caught by law enforcement with any of these items, it is something law enforcement is able to charge you for.
Robbing of trunks is allowed but only if the vehicle is left out and is unlocked. Legal and illegal items are both fair game, personal and VIP shop items are off limits.
(3.6) When committing any robberies you are to wait at the scene to allow time for PD to show up. If you are within the city you must wait 3 minutes, outside of the city you must wait 5 minutes. Robberies are meant to provide RP, they are not meant to be smash and grab. Failure to wait/provide no or low quality RP will be a punishable offense. If PD do not make it to the scene in those time frames you are allowed to leave.
STORE ROBBERIES -
Store robberies are limited to 3 people maximum.
Store clerks cannot be used as hostages unless you are actually providing quality roleplay in that situation.
VANGELICO -
Vangelico robberies are limited to 4 people maximum.
(3.7) Chain robbing will not be tolerated.
ATM robberies - must wait 30 minutes between robberies
Store robberies - must wait 30 minutes between robberies
Vangelico -must wait 60 minutes between robberies
Fleecas - must wait 90 minutes between robberies
Paleto - must wait 90 minutes between robberies
Pacific Bank - must wait 120 minutes between robberies
Bank Trucks - must wait 30 minutes between robberies
Barge Heist - must wait 60 minutes between robberies
(3.8) Simultaneous robberies will not be tolerated. If your group, or org/gang/mc is caught performing simultaneous robberies, or multiple robberies at the same time in order to intentionally divide law enforcement resources you will be subject to punishment.
Any orgs/gangs/mcs caught doing this will also be subject to loss of gang XP points.
(3.9) When committing any crime, no more than one car swap is allowed during a chase.
The person or persons involved in a car swap/pick up during a chase MUST be included in your maximum number of 6 people involved.
(3.10) When robbing houses helicopters are not to be used as getaway vehicles.
(3.11) Bank Trucks - these scenes are considered hot, meaning that once guards are fired upon, law enforcement can fire upon you.
Civilians are limited to 4 people maximum for these trucks.
Law enforcement is limited to 6 people maximum for these trucks.
(3.12) RedZone Airdrops - these scenes are shoot on sight.
You can be robbed but only of your cash, guns, ammo and armor.
If you die you will go to the light, EMS WILL NOT RESPOND!
To make it clear, if you die participating in the redzone you are to take the light, period.
Anyone who comes in to get someone or simply tries to take people out, will be shot at.
If you enter the redzone and leave the circle but stay in the area, you can still be shot at.
You must be in the redzone to shoot.
You can only shoot outside the redzone if you have entered the redzone and left the circle but are still in the area being shot at.
You may only show up with a maximum of 6 people in your team (you can show up with less).
This does include PD if they choose to participate.
Even if PD shows up, they will NOT be arresting people, if they are the ones left standing, they can collect the crates and remove items off anyone down (cash, guns, ammo, armor, coke) but you will be left on scene to take the light.
(3.13) Jail rules -
Jailbreaks are not allowed in this city at the moment. The city is not set up for jail breaks, we would much rather see you not spend your whole night in jaila and there should be no reason to do so. Any delay in processing if you choose to not provide your information to law enforcement extends your processing time, and is solely on yourself if it adds to the time it take to process you.
Do not reload your skin when you get in jail. It can/will register as a jailbreak, which causes you to lose all your items and call law enforcement over to waste time at that location for no reason.
Just like with in city jobs, the outfits are there for a reason, any for of jailbreaking, including reloading your skin, can be looked at as exploiting and can be a punishable offence.
(3.14) Barge heist rules - these scenes are shoot on sight.
This heist can be contested - if you come across someone in the middle of the heist you are allowed to fight them for it.
You can be robbed of any illegal items.
If you die EMS WILL NOT RESPOND, you will have to take the light or if someone who was with you is still up, they can take you to the hospital.
If PD responds to calls at the heist location and they are the only ones left standing, they are able to make arrests and able to seize anything from the barge as evidence.
You may only show up with a maximum of 6 people in your team (you can show up with less).
PD 2 up rule still applies, maximum of 8.
APPLICATION RQUIREMENTS
(4.A.1) 5+ current members needed to start a gang application.
(4.A.2) 2-4 weeks in city with no warning/ban's within the group.
(4.A.3) Must own a house in an area that does not currently have a org/gang/mc (this will become your gang turf).
(4.A.4) Must be active in this area (hanging in area/creating RP in this area).
(4.A.5) Org's/gang's/mc's are expected to take part in crime/beef/friendly conflict. We are not setting up social clubs.
GANG RULES
(4.B.1) Cap of 15 members per org/gang/mc.
Once org/gang/mc has been granted approval, the org/gang/mc must maintain at least 6 active members.
If the activity drops below 6 active members, the org/gang/mc will be issued a warning to increase activity within 30 days.
If activity has not increased in that 30 day period, the org/gang/mc will be disbanded with the option to reapply within 30 days as long as activity/members have increased.
Each org/gang/mc leader is expected to make sure that their org/gang/mc members are following server rules. Your members are YOUR responsibility, not ours.
(4.B.2) Prospective members must be in city at least 10 days before being added to the roster.
(4.B.3) When doing crime you are allowed to have a maximum of 6 people.
(4.B.4) Illegal items for the org/gang/mc must be stored in the stash house.
(4.B.5) Org's/gangs/mc's will be held to a 3 strike system (strikes roll off 60 days after infraction and return to warning level). Receiving 3 strikes within the 60 day period will lead to the org/gang/mc being disbanded.
First offense - org/gang/mc will receive written warning of any rule breaks/violations.
Second offense - Strike 1 - written notice but no action taken other than receiving the strike.
Third offense - Strike 2 - 14 day suspension
Org/gang/mc Suspension Guidelines - While we reserve the right to suspend or disband your org/gang/mc at any time, the following suspension rules will apply should your org/gang/mc receive strike 2 .
Suspension duration is normally 14 days - this is also subject to be longer or shorter dependent upon the decisions made by our staff.
No gang activity of any kind will take place during the suspension. This includes selling drugs, retaliating or entering other gangs turfs as a gang.
No gang colors or representation. This includes clothing and/or face masks and vehicles.
Removal of access to all gang related items/areas. This includes but is not limited to compounds, stashes, warehouses, labs and garages.
Fourth offense - Strike 3 - Disbandment - the org/gang/mc will be fully disbanded, all access to gang properties and items will be lost. Colors and clothing can no longer be worn.
Following disbandment all members of that org/gang/mc will be ineligible to join any other org/gang/mc for two weeks.
After 30 days, as long as there have been no further issues, the org/gang/mc is allowed to apply for reinstatement.
(4.B.6) Org's/gang's/mc's are expected to take part in crime/ beef/ friendly conflict. We are not setting up social clubs, you will be expected to act like a crime group and not be everyone's friend.
This does not mean that org/gang/mc are expected to only be running around shooting each other, you don't have to be hostile or cause problems.
Be creative and original with your interactions.
(4.B.7) Gang beef/conflict should build up from interactions. Shooting on sight is prohibited unless at war.
(4.B.8) During beef/war/conflict you are allowed to defend your block with as many members as you have in city. If a scene starts away from your block/turf you are not allowed to go to your block to take advantage of numbers. You must allow that scene to play out.
(4.B.9) During beef/war/conflict you are only allowed to have 6 members attacking a turf/block. You may only have your own gang members participating.
(4.B.10) Keep org/gang/mc social media drama to a minimum. Some back and forth is acceptable and fun.
Social media interactions will not be looked at as acts of initiation. This is considered low quality RP.
If you post beef/war/conflict drama to social media, expect the PD to be able to use any criminal activity posts as evidence to build cases.
(4.B.11) War must be declared by an org/gang/mc leader within a joint ticket with the opposing org/gang/mc's leader in the Asylum Roleplay Discord. No other members are allowed to declare war without notifying staff ahead of time of a legitimate reason as to why the leader is unable to be present to make the declaration. Terms of war to be set there can include numbers increase/wager/time to start an end beef.
Both sides must agree to the terms.
Staff must also approve these terms.
If terms can't be agreed on then staff will set terms.
(4.B.12) Hangarounds are not allowed to participate in beef/war or conflict unless defending the block.
(4.B.13) War will last 72 hours. These will be held inside gang turfs an not outside of these zones. If you are caught killing other gang members outside of turf areas during war the war can be stopped or player removed from the conflict/face punishment.
(4.B.14) Once at war the only ways the war ends is if one side calls for surrender. If admins have to step in for toxic behavior or rule breaks war will be ended. Lastly if the 72 hour window runs out.
(4.B.15) You are allowed going to war ONCE a week. This is a cool down period to allow rebuilding/time to allow for other RP in city outside shooting.
(4.B.16) Orgs will have the ability to control their turf. If you are caught in their territory selling drugs, orgs have the power to beat, kidnap, rob, and kill but the 2 minute rule applies in these situations, it is not a shoot on sight situation. Roleplay it out to your best ability and try and slip them a deal ect.
(4.B.17) All org/gang/mc's should be running clipping software if possible. Especially for gang interactions to ensure that scenes are playing out correctly and rules are being followed. Also provide you back up in the event you need to submit a ticket regarding the interactions.
GANG TIER SYSTEM
(4.C.1) Each org/gang/mc must progress through the stepping stones of forming and working up the chain of getting established, while working up the tier system to work towards getting extra perks.
The gang tiers will be looked at every two weeks for progressing to the next tier.
(4.C.2) Each org/gang/mc will have the chance to gain tiers every two weeks. To do so you will need to do the following:
Be active, the best way to show us you are interested and serious about your org/gang/mc is to be active.
Have good interactions with everyone in the city, remaining respectful while representing your org/gang/mc can go a long way.
Be creative with your heists. If we see you putting in extra effort into coming up with plans, thinking outside the box, and creating good roleplay it could gain your org/gang/mc some bonus points.
Participate in community events. Let us see you active and social with everyone, not just keeping to your own group all the time.
(4.C.3) The 4 Tiers/Levels will consist of the following:

(4.C.4) Your org/gang/mc is also subject to lose xp points towards your leveling that can effect your status.
Poor activity or inactivity within your gang will cause you to lose points.
Poor interactions with citizens around the city will cause you to lose points. We are all here to enjoy ourselves.
Staff action against any members of the org/gang/mc will be subject to a loss of points based on severity of the actions taken against members.
Having a mentality focused around shooting will cause a loss of points. We want to see quality interactions from your org/gang/mc.
We understand that each scene will be different and there will be views & opinions within each situation. Please understand this system is in place to give as fair a decision as possible on every outcome.

3rd Occurrence - Temp Ban 24hrs
4th Occurrence - Temp Ban 48hrs
5th Occurrence - Permanent Ban
Bans are permanent but can be appealed after 2 MONTHS. If you get any strike on your name, it may give you time to go & refresh your memory with the rules. Rules may change at any point so please read them.
(6.1) Must be in city for 2 weeks before apply for a business.
(6.2) Must apply with an in depth business plan/proposal.
(6.3) As an org/gang/mc you can only own 2 businesses within the group at a time. (We do not want one group owning every business in the city)
Any new members wishing to join an org/gang/mc who already own businesses will have to forfeit the business back to government, as there will not be more than two businesses run by the same org/gang/mc.
This can provide the opportunity however for orgs/gangs/mc's to switch up businesses or business types when bringing in new members. As a group they could decide to forfeit a business they already own and keep the incoming member's business instead. Businesses will only remain at 2.
Any org/gang/mc caught with more than 2 business's in their possession will receive a strike.
(6.4) Activity in this business is a must. Staff your business and make sure you are open multiple times a week.
Inactivity can result in the business receiving strikes.
A business can receive 3 strikes before it is removed from the owner.
Strikes can be received if the owner is not working minimum required hours in the business, or the business is rarely or never open.
(6.5) Owners are expected to work inside the business 6 hours a week.
(6.6) Staffing must be realistic meaning the entire city should not have a job inside of your business.
(6.7) Can not hire people who currently have jobs at other business that are of the same style. Example: you would not work at Wendy's and clock off to go work at McDonalds.
(6.8) Crime should not be happening inside of business or around it. While they are not green zones, these areas are meant for RP and should not be plagued by constant negative interactions.
